SESD IS NOT ACCEPTING NET METERING APPLICATIONS - updated March 10, 2020
Distributed energy - customer produced solar and wind power - has exceeded SESD's allowed system capacity as declared in Rate Schedule 10.0. SESD will not be accepting new net metering applications at this time.
(note: If you have previously submitted a net metering application and paid the necessary fees, you may continue to move ahead with your project.)
SESD has contracted with Utility Financial Solutions to conduct a rate study that will help guide future net metering policy.
Please check back often for changes and updates.
